The edges of the pool are adorned with rocks and boulders, adding to the organic feel of the space. Between swims, you can relax on one of the 4 plush poolside chaise loungers. Also included is a pool house with kitchen, changing room, private restroom, living room and deck area with comfortable seating, perfect for lounging in the sun or enjoying a picnic lunch. The pool is surrounded by a lush forest, with towering trees that provide ample shade and a natural canopy overhead. The area is home to a variety of wildlife, including birds, deer, chipmunks and other forest creatures. We have planted a number of native plants and flowers that you can enjoy as you swim and spend the day on the property. Natural Stone Saltwater Pool on Farm

Come hang out by the pool on our farm. You'll know our driveway by the rainbow flag on the mailbox. Continue up the driveway and pass the main house (grey) on the left and the workshop (black) on the right. As you continue up the driveway and pass the house, you'll see the pool area to your left. You may pull off the driveway either to the left or the right and park on the grass. Please do not park on the driveway. When you enter the pool area, you will notice there is not only great sunlight, but many shady spots to relax and stay out of the sun. The pool is solar heated. This is a saltwater pool which makes it great for those recovering from injuries. The pool area also catches a great breeze, especially in the late afternoon. Feel free to enter the black pool house to use the bathroom and grab refreshments. The bathroom is up the stairs. Please do not explore the farm without the owners present. Once you venture outside the pool area, much of the fencing is electrified.

Garden and Pool/Spa Oasis in West Hartford

The heated outdoor pool and spa are nestled in a large backyard oasis in West Hartford. The pool is nicely shaded in the afternoons (pool will be kept at 85-86 degrees). The spa can be added for a minimal flat fee and will be set at your desired temp (just include this when booking). The yard is fully fenced and there is lighting in the pool and the yard for evening events. The large yard is fully landscaped, has a beautiful Summer garden, and two fire pit areas with seating for 16 in various spaces! The restroom/shower/changing area has its own entrance and is not shared with the main house so you have full use of this space during your stay. This area includes access to a microwave/mini fridge. There is also access to one outdoor grill that can be included in your booking.
