Quintessential Farm Pool

Welcome to Windcrest Farm! Quintessential Farm Pool is a hilltop pool on a working horse farm in The Plains, Virginia, right in the heart of Hunt Country. From the water you look out over our horse pastures and rolling fields, and the afternoon sun stays on the pool all the way through sunset. WHAT'S HERE • Sonos sound system for your own playlist • Towels and pool floaties provided • BBQ grill for a cookout • Wide-open country views and plenty of room to spread out • Carrot time! Kids can feed our horses carrots with us at the fence WHO IT'S FOR Families looking for a quiet country swim day, small groups who want a break from crowded suburban backyards, and kids' birthday parties. Children's parties are welcome here. Adult parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties and alcohol-centered events are not. KIDS' PARTIES Bring the cake and the balloons. The kids get the pool, the floaties and a carrot date with the horses. The grown-ups get the grill and the view. It's the birthday party they'll still be talking about at school on Monday. When you book, please tell us how many kids and how many adults are coming. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times in and around the pool. THE FARM This is a working farm. Horses live on the property and there is some daytime vehicle traffic to the barn. Horse visits happen with us at the fence, so please don't go into the fields or approach the horses on your own. Otherwise stay in the pool area and drive slowly on the farm lane. LOCATION Minutes from Middleburg's shops and restaurants, Great Meadow (home of the Virginia Gold Cup and Twilight Polo), and the area's wineries.
