Urban Finnish Sauna & Cold Plunge

Our traditional Finnish Barrel Sauna is perfect for up to 6 people (depends on if you're okay with your sweaty shoulders touching). It is wood-burning with the optimal temperatures 155-190. We will get it started for you and allow you to use some additional wood if necessary to keep it heated. You step into the dry heat and can decide if you'd like to add some water to the stones to get the sweat flowing faster with steam. Once you have gotten warm enough to brave the cold plunge, you'll climb the steps and hop in. Whether you stay for 5 seconds or 5 minutes, the contrast in cold and hot is great for most healthy individuals from cardiovascular to mental health (please consider asking your doctor if it's safe for you if you're concerned). You may choose to go back and forth between the hot and cold or take some time to just sit outside on the patio during your visit with us.
