Announcing Swimply's First Chief Pools Officer

We are thrilled to introduce Swimply’s first ever Chief Pools Officer, Stephanie Baker! Stephanie stood out among countless applicants for this highly coveted new role with her passion for pools, love for travel, and creative content skill set. Her enthusiasm and dedication make her the perfect fit for this dream summer job.

Based in Oahu, Hawai’i, Stephanie spends her days flipping and floating as a professional mermaid. “What started as a fun hobby turned into my full time job!” Stephanie explains, "I went from doing children’s birthday parties to hotel shows to becoming a mermaid content creator.”

Through her position as Chief Pools Officer, Stephanie will travel to and review as many pools as possible in all 50 states, all while creating content to highlight the best of Swimply along the way. Swimply is the premier, neighborhood-driven marketplace to discover and book private pools, hot tubs, tennis and pickleball courts, homes, and versatile spaces, all by the hour. With a diverse array of pools across the country, we have something for everyone, and the Chief Pools Officer will be our primary expert and voice on how to find the best aquatic escapes nestled in America’s backyards.

When it comes to the journey ahead, Stephanie shares, "I’m in for an adventure of a lifetime and I couldn’t be more excited!" Though she is very excited to visit the East Coast, Stephanie says she is most excited to check out the amazing Swimply pools in Beverly Hills, California.

As part of her new CPO duties, Stephanie will be hosting Swimply events in four different cities across the US. This includes Portland, Houston, Atlanta, and San Diego. She seeks to bring Swimply fun to humans and mermaids alike, and enthusiastically shares "BYOT (Bring your own Tail) and let’s make a splash!"
