About the pool

Relax and enjoy this large, heated pool and backyard garden with hummingbirds zipping about and plenty of sun and shade. We keep the pool as close to 85 degrees as possible and we will heat the attached hot tub upon request.

This is a multi-generational home. My parents live here also and the only entrance to their mother in law bungalow and the shop is thru the backyard so you will probably see us as we live and work here, but we will do our best to respect your privacy.

Pool is older and not cosmetically perfect. (It has some missing tiles, etc.) Pool is heated with solar and a heat pump so some piping is exposed.

There is a small, in-ground hot tub that also has external hoses. These must be left alone to run the hot-tub. (If they get played with the hot tub will shut off.) Let me know if you would like this heated.

In addition to the restroom in the main residence, we now have a Honey Bucket for your convenience that is cleaned between reservations.

Swimming with your pup is an paid amenity that can be added midweek after 5pm as the last booking of the day for $25. (We close at 8pm)

What makes it special

Heated Pool

Pool is about 90 degrees and is mainly heated with a solar heater. Piping is exposed. Please don't let kids hang on pipes. (They like to do that because it is where the heated water comes out. There is a heat pump to keep it up to temperature on cloudy days.

Hot Tub

This is older, in ground hot tub. Original plumbing has failed so the heat pipes are now exposed. The jets no longer work either. Please let me know if you would like this heated up for you.

Large chess game

Play chess on an 8 foot square board. You will be right in the middle of the game!

Shady area in the grass/additional backyard
